She was predeceased by : her parents, Solon Bailey Underwood and Roma Hazel Barrett Underwood; her husband Ted H. Rushing Jr.; and her brothers, Beau and Jack Underwood.

She is survived by : her children, Debra Rushing, James Rushing (Beth) and Jennie Reeves (Michael); and her sisters, Melanie Bennett (Richard), Suzy Bigbee and Margaret Underwood. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren; her 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Burns Funeral Home of Perry (1400 N Johnson Stripling Rd, Perry, FL 32347). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry With (1400 N Johnson Stripling Rd, Perry, FL 32347).
