She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Y. Folsom (Annie) and Lizzie Anderson Willis Folsom of Marianna; her husband Robert H. Foster; her son Joe P. Foster; and her brother J. Y. "Jay" Folsom, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, James R. Foster and Anne F. Hightower of Tallahassee; her daughter-in-law Barbara K. Foster of Pompano Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, John Hightower (Sandi) of Tallahassee, Alison Milianta (Tim) of Harvest, Alabama, Robert Alexander "Alex" Foster of Lakewood, Colorado, Richard P. Foster of Louisiana and John Mearman (Michelle) of Fort Lee, Virginia; and her nieces, Nancy E. Folsom of Tallahassee and Lesley Foster of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of extended family.
