She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Donaldson and Loise W. Donaldson; and her siblings, Charlie Branton, Minnie West, Lucille Griggs, Emily Reddick, Jenny Triplett, Marjorie Randolph and Fornia Williams.
She is survived by: her husband John E. Carr; her children, Beverly, Ollie Carr and John Carr; her granddaughters, LaQueen James and Tilisha Melton; and her sister Josephine Bradley. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews.
