He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Helms and Hattie Helms. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Helms; his children, Katherine Maurer and Michael Helms; his grandchildren, Sophie Maurer, Kennedy Helms and Cole Helms; and his siblings, Sharyl Alley and Greg Helms.
