He is survived by: his mother Priscilla B. Whitfield; his children, Carla Whitfield-Fields (Stephen), Shoana P. Whitfield, Nicole L. Green, Nathaniel Briggs (Rachel), Michaile A. Briggs and Monique Speights (Alvin); and his siblings, Barbara Simmons (Preston), Debra Moore (Bernard), Charles D. Whitfield, Phyllis E. Evans and Austin Whitfield (Sylvia). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
