She was predeceased by: her parents, William (Juanita Gregory) and Southern; and her brother William Gregory (Bill). She is survived by: her sister-in-law Mittie Gregory; her nephew Brian; her husband Arthur Carlan Jr.; her son Arthur Carlan III (Becky); her grandchildren, Madeline, Reagan, Gregory and Isaac; her daughter Sidney Smith (Dan); and her grandchildren, Asa, Delaney and Oscar.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Celebration Baptist Church (3300 Shamrock St E, Tallahassee, FL 32309).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Mayo Clinic Transplant Research Fund in memory of Paula Gregory Carlan — a heartfelt tribute to the precious gift of life she received through her liver transplant in 2020, and to the five additional years of grace, love, and faith that followed.
