He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Durland and Dorothy Durland; his former wife Lois Ketcham; his siblings, Bud, Barbara Panter and Margaret Wachter; and his nephew Scott Wachter.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Turpin Nichols; his son Stephan Dorlandt (Maling) of Los Angeles; his granddaughter Dasha Dorlandt; his nephews, Kurt (Ann), Bruce, David (Andrea), John Wachter and Mark Wachter; his stepchildren, Greg Nichols and Diane Richerson (Jimmy); and his stepgrandson Chris Nichols of Tallahassee.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Big Bend Hospice Foundation.
