It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phoebe Lee Alford of Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John I. Alford and Lorena W. Alford; her brother J. I. Alford; and her brother-in-law Michael Mann. She is survived by: her siblings, Catherine Mann and Jefferson Alford; her children, Von Hayes and Younard Battle; her godchildren, Baliah Battle and Semone Johnson; her grandchildren, Brayden Battle, Madison Battle and Youvi Battle; and her nephew Philip Mann (Kristy Mann). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
