Phyllis leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Phyllis’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Phyllis will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John George Straker and Ruth Owens Straker; and her husband Bill. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Ferguson (Glenn) of Nathalie, Virginia and David Young of Tallahassee; and her friends, Anne Marie Landrum and Brian Causseaux. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and their children.
