Robert Burke Knapton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Burke Knapton of Tallahassee, Florida, born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, who passed away on February 1, 2026 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Refugia "Yuca" Knapton and Charles Wayne Knapton of Tulsa, Oklahoma.. He is survived by: his close friend Whitney Henderson Sampson of Thomasville; his children, Dylan Burke Knapton and Elle Corinne Knapton of Portland; and his cousin Juston Ramirez (Rob) of Huntsville. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rob's memory to the Leon County Humane Society in Tallahassee, Florida.
