We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2022, at the age of 76, Rockney W. Akom of Tallahassee, Florida, born in Big Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis Akom and Gloria Akom; his wife Elizabeth Ann Swanson; his daughter Niki; his son-in-law John Joens; his son Mike Akom; his daughter-in-law Julie Grosvenor; his grandchildren, Shawn Joens, Maxwell Akom and Calvin Akom; and his siblings, Steve Akom, Tim Akom, Nick Akom and Tammy Spring.
