He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Jurgensmeyer and Irmine A. Schwaller Jurgensmeyer; his wife Donna J. Baker; his children, David Smith (Tamara), Julie Neet (Joey) and Rebecca Stanley (Shawn); his great grandchild Marlya Stanley; and his siblings, Edward, Anthony and Susan Jurgensmeyer.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kent Smith (Destiny), Tyler Stanley (Monzeratt), Kyle Smith (Kaitlyn), Matthew Neet and Sara Neet; and his siblings, Janice Haltmeyer, Donald Jurgensmeyer (Carol), William Jurgensmeyer (Elaine) and Patrick Jurgensmeyer (Diane).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home (1985 W 9 Mile Rd, Pensacola, FL 32534). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
