It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Abarbanel (Tallahassee, Florida), born in Hackensack, New Jersey, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Abarbanel and Zelma Dobkin Abarbanel; and his wife Della Eleanor Shrider-Abarbanel. He is survived by: his children, Marcus Abarbanel, Levi Abarbanel, Trenetra Vaillancourt (Roland) and Delilah Abarbanel; his stepchildren, Nathan Rawls, Thomas Armistead (Melanie) and Nicole Robison; his brother Andrew Abarbanel; and also Lisa Smith (Temple Israel).
