He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Allen and Tula Harvey Allen; his son Anthony; and his siblings, Fred, Clyde, Carnell, Ronnie, Chris Allen Davis and Lois Allen Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his son Stephen (Lezlie); his grandchildren, Brantley (Sonya) and Wyatt (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Acelynn, Zoey, Addison and Beau; and his sister-in-law Alene Allen. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to hold your loved ones close and cherish the time you have—just as Dickie always did. If you wish to make a donation to Big Bend Hospice in his honor, they were instrumental in making his last days comfortable.
