She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Harrison Norris and Marion Norris (Gray); her siblings, Joan McAra (Norris), Gene Norris, Malcolm Norris (Katie) and Norde Wilson; her son-in-law Robert Young Fernandez Jr.; and her great grandchild Korey Anthony.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Higgins Fernandez, William Vernon Higgins, Scott Harrison Higgins (Holly) of Tallahassee and Sharon Higgins Strickland (Mark) of Winder, Georgia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and her 5 beloved cats.
