He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Nolan Martin and Margaret Brandon Martin. He is survived by: his son Sheppard "Buddy" Lamar Martin III; his daughter-in-law Carrie Maher Martin; his daughter Barbara Gail Martin White; his son-in-law William Ronald White Jr.; his grandchildren, Casey A. White, Zachary A. White and Kaylee Martin; his sister Sheryl Martin Roux; his sibling's children, Brandon Tedder (Jennifer Selfe Tedder) and Lauren Swift (Jon Swift); and his great-niece Ruth Aisling Swift.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bevis Funeral Home (200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303).
