It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonny Abbott of Tallahassee, Florida, born in Blountstown, Florida, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Asa "Acey" Abbott and Martha Malone Adkins Abbott; his wife Ruth Joanna Alford Abbott; his son Jason Abbott; and his siblings, Joseph "Bill" Abbott, William Abbott, Carrie Elizabeth Tucker, Lucy Mae Abbott and Sarah Frances Taylor.
He is survived by: his daughters, Krista Abbott, Amy Abbott-Darras (Hussein) and Jeri Lynn Kleinert (John); his grandchildren, Nora Darras, Raniya Darras-Musleh (Waleed), Summer Darras, Muhammad Darras, Radwan Darras and Nick Kleinert; and his sister Ida Silva.
