He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Newton Kirkland; his daughters, Rebecca Boatright Heath (Scott) of Atlanta and Brenda Boatright of Atlanta; his grandsons, Cooper and Chandler Heath; his brother Ronald Boatright (Ingrid); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Newton (Bobby), Sybil Newton, Annettee Boatright and Alice Boatright. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
