It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Hancock Sears (Tallahassee, Florida), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, William Sears and Myra Hancock Sears; his children, Jackson and Ava; his granddaughter Katelyn; his wife Erica; his daughter Katelyn; his nephews, August, Konnor Herrmann and Steve; his stepmother Connie Sears; and his siblings-in-law, Richard, Claudia Looram, Denise Herrmann (Matt) and Lisa Nimorwicz (Adam).

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Steve Sears Memorial Fund at Cobb Middle School.
