We are sad to announce that, on May 15, 2026, at the age of 74, Susan Frances Lewis MacHarg in Tallahassee, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Susan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Susan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Lewis Jr. (Lenora Johnson Lewis) and Floridian; and her husband Philip A. MacHarg. She is survived by: her siblings, Alice Ann Posada (Robert), Buzzy Lewis (Gay) and Kim Lewis. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
The family requests in memory of Fran that donations be made to the Special Olympics of Florida.
