She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Groetzinger and Ethel Groetzinger; and her husband Robert "Mickey" Safford. She is survived by: her children, Katherine "Kay" Ignacio (Elmer) and Christiana Rose Messer (Bobby); and her grandchildren, Kaitlin Meyer, Lawson Meyer, Tyson Meyer, Aidan Hardcastle and George Messer.
