She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Winkler and Loyce Winkler; her sister Melanie Peck; and her grandson Mathis Lewis. She is survived by: her husband H. Richard Dowdy; her daughters, Kristin Anderson (Jeff) and Jennifer Lewis (Jason); her grandchildren, Elyse Anderson, Chance Anderson, Lyla Anderson and Samuel Lewis; and her sister-in-law Amy D. McClellan (Jeff). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Humble House Ministries.
