He was predeceased by: his sister Bonnie Alice Williams. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cartee; his children, Kim Blanton Beaty (Dan) and Michelle Blanton; his stepchildren, Christy, Eric Taylor, Donnie and Stephanie Griesheimer; his grandchildren, Allison Beaty-Campbell, Landon Campbell, Meredith Beaty, Erica, Luke Hedrick, Claire Taylor, Tres, Sarah Griesheimer, Bayne Griesheimer and Elliott Griesheimer; and his siblings, Fran Blanton, Travis and Susan Blanton.
