William Avent Snowden III Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Avent Snowden III in Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Avent Snowden Jr. and Leona Marshall Snowden; and his brother Harry Marshall Snowden (Edie). He is survived by: his wife Joan Jhonson Snowden; his children, William Avent Snowden IV (Meredith) and Dana Snowden (Steve Blalock); his grandchildren, Dylan Snowden, Emily Snowden (Heath Fowler) and Harper Macgowan (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Raleigh, Baker, Estelle, Vera and Clifton.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the William IV and Meredith's Home (2114 Jenette St, Tallahassee, FL 32308).
