He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Garber and Alice Garber; and his siblings, Tom Garber and Jane Garber Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his son William C. Garber (Bill); his grandchildren, Sydney and Cody; his son Brian E. Garber (Elizabeth); his grandsons, Cole and Bryce; his brother Tim (Shannon); and also Alison (Tracy).

In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest a contribution to Big Bend Hospice in honor of Bill.
