It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Alvan Swain in Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Swain and Nellie Swain; his siblings, Alton Swain and Evelyn Swain; and his sister-in-law Geneva Swain.
He is survived by: his daughters, April and Julie; his wife Sue Swain; and his son-in-law Aaron Browning.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 4:00 PM.
