In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Gerald's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Silver and Sylvia Silver; his wife Susan Silver; his children, Lauri (David Hochberg) and Michael (Robyn Silver); his grandchildren, Benjamin Hochberg, Madison Silver, Jacqueline Hochberg and Savanah Silver; and his sister Anita Krakower. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Levitt-Weinstein Beth David Chapel (3201 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL 33024).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Gerald's honor be made to Friends of the IDF (https://www.fidf.org.).
