He was predeceased by : his parents, Danny David and Sophie Cohen. He is survived by : his wife Sofia Cohen; his siblings, Lilyan Cuttler (Ned Seder) and Gary Cohen (Barbara); his children, Danny Cohen, Meredith Shapiro (Jay), Taylor Cohen and Kelli Cohen; and his grandchildren, David, Samantha, Jared Shapiro and Natalia Cohen.

Donations can be made in his memory to the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center and Joe DiMaggio Children's Center.
