He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Domenica (Tota) and Tommaso Tota; his wife Sylvia Tota (Eisler Grief); and his siblings, Nicholas, Giuseppe, Andrea, Ralph and Lucrezia Segreto (Tota).
He is survived by: his daughter Maria Italia Schlossberg (Tota); his son-in-law David Lee Schlossberg; his grandson Michael; and his siblings, Corrado, Anna Innocente (Tota), Vincenza, Rosa Cella (Tota) and Susan LaPorta (Tota).
