She was predeceased by: her mother Day. She is survived by: her children, Henry Dowd and Emily Dowd (Elaine); her granddaughter Jennifer Racoma (Joe); and her great grandchildren, Destino, Tatiana Racoma, Lindsey Finer (Bob), Kellan, Aidan, Tripp Ryan, Kristina Carlon (Lance), Brixton, Harper, Selah, Delaney and Mabel Carlon.
Betty was given several certificates of accomplishment throughout the years as well as one of her last where she was honored by the Spanish Heritage Society as woman of the year for her contributions to the local Latin community.
