She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mickens, Sr. and Alice Mickens; and her brother James Mickens, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Syrenia Hamilton, Craig Hall (Vickie) and Dwayne Hall; her grandchildren, William Contreras, Jr., Khamya Contreras, Kaylee Contreras and Ka'mora Contreras; her brothers, Samuel Lee Mickens (Jacqueline), Charles Mickens (Susan) and Jerome Mickens (Jeannie); her daughter-in-law Ellen Mickens; and her close friend Gail Vanador. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
