He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mitchell and Eve Mitchell of Tampa; and his aunt Marguerite Mitchell Maurici (JoAnne Chavis Mitchell) of Tampa. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hough Mitchell (Lin); his children, LeAnne Mitchell Wentworth of Tallahassee, Linda Mitchell Kime of Farmington, Michael Mitchell of Cape Coral and Mark Mitchell (Julie) of Orlando; and his stepson Chris Morton (Michelle) of Raleigh. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
