He is survived by: his wife Alayne Berkins; his children, Lisa Berkins Novorska (Curt) and Mark Berkins (Meredith); his granddaughter Lauren Novorska; and his sister Alice Brockgreitens (Ben). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
