She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Hemlein and Mathilde Hemlein; her husband George N. Tharin IV; and her brother Rudolph "Rudi" Hemlein. She is survived by: her son George N. Tharin V (Julie); her grandchildren, Ryan Tharin (Monique) and Alec Tharin; her daughter Patricia (Patrick McCarron); her grandchildren, Meghan and Trevor McCarron; her niece Heike Graf; her nephews, Joerg Hemlein and Michael Hemlein; and her cousin Jochen Bernauer of Germany.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (5225 N Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Lawrence Catholic School (5223 N Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
