She was predeceased by: her mother Rachel "Rae" Siegel; her siblings, Morton Siegel and Florence Rabin; her husband Gino Scafa; her former husband Robert Greenberg; and her stepdaughters, Michele Abels and Teresa Gerstein.

She is survived by: her children, Laurie Kahn (Howard), Dee Greenberg, Raymond Greenberg, Gina Scafa, MaryAnn Scafa and Danette Scafa-McConnell; her grandchildren, Andrea Kahn (William Kuhns) and William Kahn; and her great grandchildren, Aaron and Rachel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Claire's memory.
