She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph L. Harris; her mother Daisy Bell Dukes; her daughter Kimerly Harris; her grandson Christopher Harris; and her sister Louise Rivers.

She is survived by: her children, Howard T. Harris (Norma Jean) and Robin Harris; her grandchildren, Hailey Bowman, Adreauna Ratcliffe (Anthony), Jasmine Harris, Justin Harris and Howard Harris II; and her friend Macie B. Hardee. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
