He is survived by: his children, Tevin Franklin, Tegra Franklin and London Monday; his grandchildren, Auden Azari Franklin and Khaliani Reanna Franklin; his siblings, Terrence Franklin, Kenneth Franklin and Avis Metoyer; his close friend Sandra Evans; and his son-in-law Markus Howard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Aikens Funeral Home (2708 E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33610). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
