She is survived by: her children, Wayne Lawton Sr., Sernita Lawton, DeVonne Daniels (Larry Sr.), Nikki Brown (Will), Malawi Hills Sr. (Tamika) and Michael Cobb (Ilene); her grandson Wayne Lawton Jr.; her children, Ryan Lawton (Ora), Allene Lawton, Shanita Lawton Sr., LaQuanda Tribling, Slater Mazion IV (Emily), D'Jon McGee, Larry L. Daniels Jr., AnthonyFrederique, Laila Creal, Mariah Hills, Will Brown III, Savannah Maultsby, Kennedy Cobb and Alyssa Hills; and her siblings, Hinton Stephens Jr. of Tampa, Clyde Kennedy Jr. of Sparr, Deborah Cooper, Claudia Washington of Tampa, Liz Bagley, Gail Kennedy and Margaret Wise of Sparr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aikens Funeral Home (2708 E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33610). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church (2504 Chipco St, Tampa, FL 33605). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Memories Cemetery (4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610).
