He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Joseph and Charles Joseph; and his brother Thomas Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Patty Sykes-Joseph; his children, Andrew Edward Llyod Joseph, Lancelot Kesley Grandsoult, Vallie Mekela Joseph and Jelani Nickolas Joseph; his siblings, Ivorina Gordon and Lloyd Humphery (Monica); and his in-laws, Debra Jean Sykes, Maxine Banks, Marcia Gaines and Vernon Sykes (Barbara).
