In the vast expanse of eternity, Elizabeth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elizabeth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mallon J. Sheffield and Julia Smith Sheffield; and her brother Craton Sheffield. She is survived by: her sister Emelyn "Hemmie" Gilmore. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and great grand nephew.
Instead of presents Lizzie asked people to bring stuffed animals that she could donate to the Tampa Police for distraught children.
