She was predeceased by: her parents, Foy A. Shuman and Keturah Downs Shuman; her husband H. Doyle Harvill; and her siblings, Charles G. Shuman, R. W. Shuman, Foy A. Shuman, Jr., Raleigh Shuman, Louise Simmons, Della Lee Shuman Kimbel and H. Devon Shuman.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Harvill Scott and Alan D. Harvill (Denise); her grandchildren, S. Reynolds Scott, Jr., Abigail Janvier Scott, Lauren Louise Harvill, Alexander Doyle Harvill and Jean Luma; and her sisters, Bettye Holly and Ruth Brown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
