She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Kelley-Dale and Edmond Dale, Sr.; her siblings, Edmond Jr., Charlie, Jesse, Richard (Fannie), Earlier, James (Marion), Eddie, John Lee, Mittie, Rosie, Dora and Minnie; and her daughter Sylvia.
She is survived by: her spouse Willie Thompson; and her children, Yvonne, Shirley (Ben), Brenda (Donald), Willie Jr. (Yolanda), Stephanie and Dulcey (Douglas). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
