We are sad to announce that, on January 18, 2026, Esther Evans Whitley of Tampa, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Evans and Ida Evans; her husband Ron; and her daughter Susan DePatie. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Whitley Powell (Clifford), Lori Cassady and Jeff Whitley; her grandchildren, Ethan Powell (Michelle), Garrett Powell, Meredith Trull (Ben), Caitlin DeSantis (Robert) and Evan Kyle Cassady (Kelsey Stirling); and her great grandchildren, Lincoln Powell, Stevie Powell, Esther Trull, Ezra Trull, Naomi Trull and Jimmie Olivia DeSantis.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Esther's honor be made to: Feeding Tampa Bay.
