We are sad to announce that, on March 20, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Georgena Way of Tampa, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Georgena's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Georgena has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Way (Janet), Emily Lennon, Colleen VanFossen (Greg) and Valerie Bednarz (Andy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her honor to Tampa Community Church of the Nazarene (shelbygiving.com/App/Form/bb5d8110-2b9a-4279-851d-5c768acf6a41) or Suncoast Hospice Tampa.
