He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann; his children, Kim Taylor (Robbie), Cathy Cottrell (Dallas), Shelly Messner (Mike) and Sabrina Hast-Witmer; and his brothers, Larry Messner (Barbara) and Timmy Messner (Donna). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home (2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
