He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Martinez; his children, Lori Welch (Lynn), Gilbert Martinez Jr. (Mary Jo) and Yvette Diehm (Ric); his great grandchild Amyah Welch Corujo; his cousins, Yolanda Licata, Edma Shirey, Rollie and Papo Vildostegui; and his friend Tommy Regano.
