He was predeceased by: his father Bob Barnes; and his stepfathers, Otto and Fred. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Barnes; his wife Jeanie Keislar Barnes; his daughter Jaima; his son-in-law Justin; his grandsons, Jackson and Jensen; his brother Robert; his stepsister Janet (John); and his foster brother Bill. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In memory of Greg, donations may be made to End 68 Hours of Hunger, a local program providing meals to school children facing food insecurity, where Greg faithfully volunteered along with his family.
