He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ritchey and Betty Ritchey; and his brothers, C. Michael Ritchey, Attny and Steven Paul Ritchey.
After contracting Covid in 2021, the infection caused encephalitis which ultimately caused physical disability, forcing Greg to retire from his Postal Service career of 39 years.
Greg's final battle with Parkinson's disease which advanced to Parkinson's dementia was a difficult battle and Greg's family and friends provided compassionate care as he made the last journey in his life on earth.
