He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigmund Ewen and Fanny Ewen. He is survived by: his wife Carole Ewen; his children, Joshua Ewen and Sara Laine Ewen; his son-in-law Patrick Combs; his grandson Jack Combs; and his sister Esther Fogle. He is also survived by his six nieces.
