She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Tawil and Leo Tawil; her brother Dr. Albert Tawil; and her siblings-in-law, Judith Tawil and Jay Weisman.
She is survived by: her husband Earl; her daughters, Shari Wald Garrett and Lauren Wald Lomnitzer (Daniel); her grandchildren, Alicia Garrett and Dylan Lomnitzer; and her siblings, Esther Weisman, Francyn Berrin and Dr. Robert Tawil.
The family requests that those individuals wishing to make memorial contributions donate to the Baptist Health Foundation (specifically, the Miami Cancer Institute).
